In-line Air Filter
When we originally put the engine in, we used a piece of black PVC with a 90 degree bend to get to the only place left with any space! Unfortunately that left us pulling hot air due to it's position right over the exhaust manifold. When driving it on long trips it seemed to loose some power as things got really heated up in the engine bay, so I started looking for solutions. It wasn't easy, but I eventually found this nifty little product from Canada. It's called the PRM Jet Stream Intake System and it's designed for rice boy hot rods. Luckily they make one for the high powered S2000 as well and it looks like it will flow enough air for my application. I had to use the same place, but now I'm pulling air from a colder corner of the bay. I plan to either make a snorkel for it or have it pull air from the box that feeds fresh air into the cabin.
