Misc Interior Stuff
I did a bunch of little stuff to the interior, and didn't really have a place to put them. As I'm writing this I'm thinking of other pictures I really need to add
Here you can see the new shifting setup. Didn't have a whole lot of choice as to where those Atlas II t-case levers came up, but it could be worse. The little red 'fighter pilot' switch on the dash, that controls the NOS boost system. Just kidding! (for now?) The switch actually allows me to turn off the electric fan during deep water crossings. Helps the engine from cutting out and saves wear on the fan.
Here is a picture of the Premier Power Welder control box. It addition to the welding bit, it gives me the advantage of a 190 amp alternator and the ability to run electric power tools. This unit will recharge a dead battery in nothing flat too! It's just nice to have a charging system that is total overkill. Yeah, I still need to clean up the wiring.
I will take pictures of the Recaro seats and put them here soon. I got a set of used seats at a good price and have enjoyed the added comfort. They are a little hard to get in and out of, but they make the long trips a lot more barable.
I will take pictures of the VDO gauges and put them here. I replaced the Speedometer with a programmable one (very cool!) and replaced the tachometer with one that will read the V8. I also added oil pressure and a water temp gauge. The new gauges are SO much nicer to look at and light up really nice at night. No real good way to show a picture of that.
