I didn't get any pictures of the removal, but all I did was cut around the top section of the roof panel, leaving everything else in place.  I then painted the areas that had been worked on and covered the openings with black duct tape.  This not only helped it look more complete, but covered the sharp edges until I can get the body work done.  I will work on that while it is in Rockware's shop this winter since I can have them weld it up for me.  It really is more of a job for a fabricator than a body shop, and I can work it smooth to make it look good afterwards.  I'll also have them fix the rust while they are at it so I can finish lining the tub.

Like they say, you can fix anything with duct tape!  As long as it's body colored it doesn't look half bad either...

Murphy's law states, 'If you make your vehicle convertible, it will snow the next day.'  Sure enough, this is the day after, Sept 8th.  Time to start looking at getting that custom top made!  At least the overcast skys made for good pictures.  I took a bunch.
