The trip was awesome! We did three trails due to time constraints, but they were good ones. We did Fins and Things Sat morning for a warm-up. In the afternoon we did Poison Spider Mesa, pretty fun trail with some unique obstacles like the crack. You can straddle it or go along side and cling to the rocks at a pretty good side angle. John and I straddled, Erwin and Jock leaned em over and climbed. We also did the STEEP optional climb, said to be one of Moabs steepest, it is amazing what you can get up! Sunday we did Moab Rim, the first section lives up to its reputation. It is pretty difficult, the quote of the trip should be, "So just how far do you think you are going to make it?" Made by a passing hiker just as we started the trail. Well sir, these are G-Wagens, and we are going all the way! Which we did.

Pretty damn amazing to see these three totally stock G-wagens on stock size tires complete this trail with no problems. Erwin and John put those big buck G500s through it all, and Johns was wearing the 18" wheels! We had a great time, everybody that showed was a great sport. Next time around we were thinking of making it more like a four day event. Hopefully we can get a little larger group, I would bet everybody from this year will return, it was fun. I know John and his daughter Liz took a bunch of pics, as did Denis who was riding with me. Once I get some pics together I will let you guys know.
