Very cool project. I take it you are currently in Spain? Any chance you have some more pictures of your exhaust routing?

wow ... good job ....

I have a few questions too ..

1) do you use the sprinter flywheel, clutch and everything?
2) the OM662 motor was already fully mechanical IP? no changes to the engine
except swapping the oil pan? oil filter? and steering pump?
3) would like to see more pics of the complete shifter and linkages

hi spinter. great work ! very profesionally done..

we also fitted a 662 into a friends G here in n cyprus. we also changed over the same parts luckily his old engine was a 250D so all the parts were readily available. an intercooler was also installed but he needs to cut a vent in the bonnet for freshair intake. a normal 5 speed from a w124 was used.

your use of the sprinter box is wise. whats the code number btw ? another project we did recently had a NA 606 mated to a sprinter box , but a bit of butchery was done inside the G, which i wasnt to fond of...! the box they used never had rods but cables i was told...

btw, are you friends with mortinson ? alias jesus fernandez.... he's the spanish G guru and good friend. give my regards if you do see him.

keep us posted
